Lisa Koch Joins A&O Shearman as Partner to Bolster Global ENRI and Finance Practice

A&O Shearman has announced the appointment of Lisa Koch as a Partner in the firm’s Perth office, significantly enhancing its project finance and Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure (ENRI) capabilities across Australia, Asia-Pacific, and globally.

Lisa is a highly regarded finance lawyer with deep experience in project finance, acquisition finance, and corporate finance transactions, with a primary focus across the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. She brings over two decades of international and cross-border experience and is qualified to practice in Australia, England & Wales, and South Africa.

Lisa has particular expertise in emerging market finance, energy transition, and sustainability finance, including the financing of carbon offset generation projects. She joins A&O Shearman from Norton Rose Fulbright, where she led the project finance team, co-led the mining group, and served as head of the Sydney office.
