Khaitan & Co advised on the update of REC Limited’s USD 10 billion global MTN programme and proposed issuance of bonds

Khaitan & Co advised REC Limited in relation to the update of its USD 10 billion global medium term note programme and the proposed issuance of notes under Rule 144A and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act, 1933. The notes, when issued, will be listed on the India INX, NSE IFSC in IFSC GIFT City, the Singapore Exchange Limited, and International Securities Market.

The Firm acted as the legal advisor to the Indian Law for the Arrangers and the Initial Dealers, including Barclays Bank PLC, DBS Bank Limited, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Mizuho Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, MUFG Securities Asia Limited, and Standard Chartered Bank.
