Khaitan & Co advised Astral Limited on acquisition of Al-Aziz Plastics Limited
Khaitan & Co advised Astral Limited (formerly Astral Poly Technik Ltd) on the acquisition of 100% of the issued and paid-up share capital of Al-Aziz Plastics Limited from its existing shareholders.
The scope of Khaitan & Co’s engagement included acting as legal counsel for the overall transaction—negotiating, drafting, and reviewing definitive agreements, conducting legal due diligence on Al-Aziz Plastics Private Limited, and assisting with the execution of transaction documents.
The Firm’s role included:
(i) acting as legal counsel to Astral Limited for the overall transaction (including negotiating, drafting and reviewing the definitive agreements);
(ii) undertaking due diligence on Al-Aziz Plastics Private Limited; and
(iii) assisting with execution of the transaction documents.
