IT Department Serves Notice To AstraZeneca Pharma For Rs.11.96 Crore Claim
The company plans to appeal to the Dispute Resolution Panel
AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited has received a draft order from the Income Tax Department for the Assessment Year 2022-23, under Section 144C (1) read with Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
It pertains to a claim of Rs.11.96 crores, excluding interest and penalty.
However, the company stated, “The matter will be challenged before the Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) by filing an appeal.”
