M Mulla Associates Advised Allied Blenders on Acquisition of Fullarton Distilleries’ IPR and Brands
M Mulla Associates advised and represented Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited, India’s third-largest spirits company, in acquiring the intellectual property rights (IPR) and brands from Fullarton Distilleries Pvt Ltd. The deal, valued at ₹39.50 crores, marks a significant expansion for Allied Blenders and Distillers in the premium alcoholic beverages segment.
The acquisition includes Fullarton Distilleries’ popular brands, such as Woodburns whisky, Pumori small-batch gin, and Segredo Aldeia rum. These well-known brands will bolster Allied Blenders’ portfolio and enhance its presence in the high-end spirit’s market.
The transaction was completed on 31 January. The M Mulla Associates team, led by Founder and Managing Partner Maneck Mulla, Senior Partner Vaibhav Warerkar, and Associate Mansi Chheda, successfully guided Allied Blenders through this strategic acquisition.
