White-collar crime and dispute resolution firm MZM Legal LLP has hired Mohammad Shine as a partner in its criminal litigation practice.

He has been practising independently since 2013

He is a Mumbai University Apeejay School law graduate, who also has an MBA and diploma in cyber laws from there.

Shine works in criminal matters and trials with a focus on white-collar crimes, including matters of large banking and financial frauds, securities fraud, money laundering, corruption, and disproportionate assets, according to MZM.

He practises before the Supreme Court, high and trial courts and tribunals.

MZM managing partner Zulfiquar Memon, who had set up the firm in 2005, commented in a statement: “Shine’s addition will add great value to our criminal litigation practice. He has been associated with us as an of-counsel for a long time and now and therefore a string relationship has always been in place.”

Shine added: “I have known and worked with MZM for years and I am excited with my new role in the firm. I look forward to contributing towards the growth of the firm and thereby enhancing my skills in the space of white-collar crime litigation.

“I am grateful for the firm to induct me as a Partner”.

MZM Legal has 50 lawyers with offices in Mumbai and Delhi.
