2nd Amity Virtual Moot Court Competition 2021 | ALS Noida

The 2nd edition of Amity Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021 (AVMCC) aims to create awareness about Bioethics and Human Rights, and develop the skill of quick-to-the-point submissions, spur hope and confidence among the law students, showcase young talent and sensitize the audience on burning issues. The purpose of AVMCC’21 is to engage young legal minds to debate and discuss the critical legal matters of present times. And yet, another purpose is to reinvigorate these legal minds and their spirit to stand up to the unprecedented situation.

Eligibility

  1. All recognized law schools, universities, and institutions in India or abroad with minimum three year of LL.B. courses shall be eligible to participate.
  2. Each participating team shall comprise of minimum of two (2) members and maximum of three (3), wherein two (2) members, shall be designated as Speakers and one (1) member as Researcher (optional).
  3. No team shall contradict the composition mentioned above. No faculty member, coach, or a designated observer will be allowed to join the video-conferencing or chat room during the session.
  4. No Cross-teams allowed i.e. members from different institutions can not form a team.
  5. The language of the competition will be English.

Registration

The 2nd Amity Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021 is being organized under the Amity Youth Fest, 2021.

  • Teams are supposed to complete their Registration by 25th January 2021 by 23:59 hours IST.

There is NO Registration Fee.

  • The teams shall fill the Registration Form here:
  • The Registration shall be deemed complete only when the Registration form is duly filled.
  • Once the application form is filled, the OC shall send a confirmation mail to the teams [within 24 hours of registration], which shall consist of their Team Code.
  • The teams shall quote this Team Code in all further communications with the OC.

  2. Last Date of Registration: 25th January 2021
  3. Last date to request Clarifications: 26th January 2021
  4. Release of Clarifications: 27th January 2021
  5. Memorial Submission Deadline: 1st February 2021
  6. Last date to submit memorial with Penalty: 3rd February 2021
  7. Deadline for Video Submission for Preliminary Round: 3rd February 2021
  8. Result Announcement for Preliminary Round & Semi-Finals: 5th February 2021
  9. Announcement of Results: 6th February 2021
  10. Draw Of Lots and Exchange of memorials Final Round: 6th February 2021
